A writer and creative leader in the games industry for over 20 years, Dave "Fargo" Kosak was a co-founder of GameSpy, an online gaming technology and community platform that helped usher in the era of Internet gaming.
After more than 12 years at GameSpy, Kosak moved on to Blizzard Entertainment where he alternated between Lead Quest Designer and Lead Narrative Designer roles for the legendary World of Warcraft and the wildly successful online collectable card game Hearthstone.
For eight years he was a creative lead on World of Warcraft, contributing to the game's overall story, quest design, cinematics and storytelling. He then moved over to the Hearthstone team where he played a similar role over the next five years. He built up the single-player development team to focus on unique solo content for the game, including the very popular Dungeon Run mode, while also contributing to the game's overall narrative and playful tone.
